Nutrition for Weight Loss

With the HFF plan, clients learn that “Diet is not a verb”.   A diet is a nutrition  plan that is both healthy and sustainable.  Fad diets don’t work –  and almost every “diet” that removes an entire food group or has overly restrictive rules is an unhealthy fad diet!   There is no one diet plan that will work for everyone.  One size does not fit all and your success strategy  may look very different from others.

Healthy Fit Family  will guide you to find the nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle choices that best support you and your family. In turn, you will be able to make lifelong changes that  enable you to reach you goals.  There are no restrictive diet plans – we help succeed by teaching you about:

Fitness for Weight Loss

As a certified personal trainer, I have had extensive training in the areas of exercise program design, lifestyle coaching,  corrective exercise prescription, senior fitness, and small group classes. Combining the proper nutrition plan and the proper exercise prescription is the only way to achieve long-term health and optimal wellness. 

Healthy Fit Family fitness programs don’t focus on overly strenuous workouts or hours of cardio.   While there are people who love to push it to the limit,  I’ve learned that many people  just can’t maintain those types of programs long-term (myself included).  You will focus more on:
